Each year, JACS Au appoints an Early Career Advisory Board (ECAB) to provide guidance and perspectives from emerging independent scholars.1,2 This year we introduce a new ECAB initiative, JACS Au ECAB Selects.
JACS Au ECAB Selects highlights favorite papers nominated by our ECAB members throughout their year of service on our board. Every quarter, the journal’s editorial team selects the top papers from those nominated, which are then showcased on the journal webpage and on social media. These papers demonstrate the strength and breadth of the high-quality research published in JACS Au, across a wide range of topic areas, demonstrating the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary scope of the journal. At the end of the ECAB’s service year, the most outstanding paper will be selected by our editorial team, announced in an editorial, given a free waiver to publish in JACS Au and highlighted across our website and social media. This represents the inaugural award sponsored by JACS Au. The first JACS Au ECAB Selects Outstanding Paper Award will be announced in Summer 2023.
