In the article “Experimentally Induced Anti-Myeloperoxidase Vasculitis Is Not Attenuated in Factor B or VISTA Deficient Mice” [Glomerular Dis 2022;2(2):83–88. DOI: 10.1159/000521233] by Flórez-Barrós et al., the sentence “For experiments with VISTA deficient mice, GCSF 6 μg (Neulasta; Amgen, Cambridge) was given subcutaneously daily from day −4 to day +6.” in the Methods section is incorrect. The correct sentence is shown below:
“For experiments with VISTA deficient mice, GCSF 6 μg (Neupogen; Amgen, Cambridge) was given subcutaneously daily from day −4 to day +6.”
In addition, the sentence “Anti-MPO antibody was raised in MPO-deficient mice as described and purified by protein G chromatography [13].” should read as below to clarify the fact that the cited study [13] used anti-MPO serum whereas the current studies used purified anti-MPO IgG.
“Anti-MPO antibody was raised in MPO-deficient mice as described [13] and IgG was purified by protein G chromatography (Hitrap, GE Healthcare).”
