Welcome to the first issue of BioDrugs for 2023.
I wish to reflect on last year’s achievements, and to thank all those who have contributed their valuable time and effort to the journal over the past 12 months.
I would like to start by thanking the authors of the articles published in BioDrugs over the course of 2022. The skill and dedication of these experts is critical to the continued success of the journal.
The high quality of published article in BioDrugs has been reflected in the most recent Impact Factor of 7.744 and CiteScore™ of 10.5. These place the journal in the first quartile for Pharmacology and Pharmacy, Immunology, and Oncology in Clarivate Analytics, and 12th of 255 journals (95th percentile) in Medicine—Pharmacology in Scopus. Further, BioDrugs has published content in a timely manner, with an average time from submission to acceptance of 121 days in 2022.
The quality of published articles is also testament to the significant efforts of the peer reviewers, whose commitment ensures that the journal’s content is held to the highest possible standard.
