We appreciate the efforts made by Mungmunpuntipantip and Wiwanitkit to provide constructive criticism on our survey on vaccination-related adverse events. We acknowledge that we could not isolate the adverse events to be exclusive because of the vaccine and some of these may have overlapped with some coexisting illness at the time of the survey. This is however, a limitation of using a survey through remote means without direct physical examination and history to assess the participants as responses would only be limited to the questionnaire provided to them. The idea of this survey was to generate data on Indian population so that the prople of the country may make an informed decision on vaccination practices as the observation was a low incidence of vaccine-related adverse events. This may increase the vaccine coverage in the country. We agree that a voluntary feedback system or verification process would strengthen the evidence collected by our survey.
