The authors would like to apologize for typographical errors in three confidence intervals (CIs) reported in the original version of above article.

Alcohol consumption

Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) had lower alcohol consumption than women without PCOS; mean difference -0.95; 95% CI −1.67; −0.22g/day; P = 0.02; I2 = 0%.

The data reported in Figure 6C are correct. However, the 95% CI reported in the abstract and main text was erroneously stated as −1.67; 0.22. This has now been corrected.

Physical activity

Women with PCOS had lower physical activity than women without PCOS; standardized mean difference −0.38; 95% CI −0.72; −0.03; P=0.03; I2 = 98%.

The data reported in Figure 3 are correct. However, the 95% CI reported in the abstract and main text was erroneously stated as −0.72; 0.03. This has now been corrected.

Zinc intake

Women with PCOS has a lower, but not significant, intake than women without PCOS; mean difference −1.08; 95% CI −2.19; 0.03mg/day; P = 0.05; I2 = 96%.

The data reported in Figure 7F and the main text are correct. However, the 95% CI reported in the abstract was erroneously stated as −2.19; −0.03.

The authors would like to assure readers that these errors do not affect the results of any other analysis within the article, or the conclusions drawn.

The electronic version of this article has been updated at https://doi.org/10.1093/humupd/dmac023. The print version of the article is correct.
