Abstract
The 11th International Workshop on the CCN Family of Genes organized in Nice from October 20th to October 24th, 2022, was the occasion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ICCNS meetings.
In order to mark this special event, and as a co-organizer of the workshop, I shot pictures to illustrate the nice days that we spent with all the scientists who accepted to participate in this new episode of the ICCNS workshop series.
The meeting
It was the first CCN meeting in person since the COVID-19 pandemics.
All the participants were happy to get together again.
This year, Professor Lester Lau from Chicago has been the ICCNS Awardee, in recognition of his contributions to the field of Cell Communication and Signaling.
Lester Lau has long been committed to advancing research and scientific interest in the CCN field. He has been actively involved in the ICCNS since its inception and has previously served as the Head of the ICCNS Council and President of the Scientific Advisory Board.

Monday, October 24, 2022 Departure of Participants
The meeting has been a great success.
In order to thank all the attendees among whom some came from far away in Europe, USA and Australia, the ICCNS board organized several social events.
A dinner with wine tasting in a local “Taverne”
A dinner in an Italian restaurant
A guided tour of the old city of Nice
Finally, to end the meeting in a pleasant way, a gala dinner with live music
The 2024 meeting will be held in Oslo Norway,
Thanks to Professor Håvard Attramadal and his team, who accepted to take care of the organization
