(A) DNA sequence alignment of the transposase binding sites within the Sleeping Beauty transposon and similar sequences found in human chromosomes. (B) Agarose gel showing products of excision PCR (8). The transposon donor constructs pT/neo, pT/neo-Chr8, and pT/neo-Chr15 were transfected into HeLa [IRES-SB] cells. PCR on pUC19 DNA was included as a positive control and molecular size marker. The amount of input DNA was visualized by PCR amplification of the neo gene.
