Cluster analysis of 102 genes and EST that have treatment effect in cardiac ventricles at 6 and 24 h after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) administration. These genes are likely to show sustained changes during the initial hours of an inflammatory response and they might represent a stereotypic transcriptional response pattern of the heart to inflammatory stress.
