Fig. 7. BMS-806 and related compounds inhibit syncytium formation mediated by wild-type and DCT YU2 envelope glycoproteins. We incubated 293T cells expressing wild-type (Wt) or cytoplasmic tail-deleted YU2 envelope glycoproteins with the indicated concentrations of BMS-806 or #155 for 15 min at 37°C, followed by cocultivation with Cf2Th/CD4-CCR5 target cells at 37°C. After overnight incubation, syncytia were counted by microscopy. The values shown represent the means and SEs of triplicate points in one assay. The results are typical of those obtained in two independent experiments.
