Fig. 8. BMS-806 and related compounds do not interfere with heptad repeat (HR) 2–HR1 interaction. The YU2 soluble gp130 glycoprotein trimers were incubated with an ELISA plate that had soluble CD4 (sCD4) captured on it. After washing, C34-Ig was incubated with the plates in the presence of the indicated concentrations of BMS-806, #151, and #155. The bound C34-Ig was detected by a peroxidase-conjugated goat anti-human IgG (Ig-constant region-specific) antibody. The optical densities obtained after development of the assay are shown. Similar results were obtained in a repeat experiment.
