Fig. 8. Comparison of the amino acid sequences of SYT (human synovial translocation factor) and AtGIF (GRF-interacting factor). Conserved amino acids and conservative substitutions are highlighted in yellow, and the Gln (Q) and Gly (G) residues are in red and green, respectively. The SNH domain is indicated. Q(P)G(Y) denotes the QPGY domain in SYT and QG domain in GIF proteins.
Fig. 9. Coexpression of AtGRF1 and AtGIF1 genes in different tissues and at different developmental stages of Arabidopsis plants. The signal intensities were retrieved from the microarray dataset(ftp://ftp.arabidopsis.org/home/tair/Microarrays/Datasets/AtGenExpress) submitted by J. Lohmann, M. Schmid, and D. Weigel (Max-Planck-Institut, Tübingen, Germany). The data include the Developmental Affymetrix Gene Expression Atlas as part of the AtGenExpress Project. The signal intensities resulting from hybridization intensity values reflect the abundance of a given mRNA relative to the total mRNA population. Error bars were calculated from triplicate data sets and indicate standard deviation.
