Hs.CSPG4 |
SWALL:AAQ62842 |
Fr.Frem2 |
Genewise prediction from Scaffold_98 using Mm.Frem2, ORF extended to N-terminal start site. There are at least two more Frem2-like genes in Fugu, but they are fragmented in the current assembly. |
Fr.Frem1 |
Genewise prediction from Scaffold_2037 using Mm.Frem1, ORF extended to the N-terminal start site. |
Mm.Cspg5 |
Genewise prediction using Fr.Cspg5. |
Fr.Cspg5 |
Cross-species conservation and Genewise using Mm.Cspg4 on Scaffold_47. |
Hs.CSPG5 |
Appears to have degraded into a pseudogene, multiple in-frame stops. |
Hs.FREM2 |
Refseq:XP_292193 but N-terminally trimmed to more likely start site (conserved signal peptide). |
Mm.Frem2 |
ESTs and Genewise with Hs.FREM2. |
Hs.FREM3 |
Refseq:XP_094074 but with N-terminally trimmed. |
Mm.Frem3 |
ESTs and Genewise with Hs.FREM3. |
Fr.Fras1 |
Genewise using Mm.Fras1 as the model on Scaffold_587 |
The sequences of Frem proteins and their relatives were derived from a number of sources as noted above. The GenBank accession number for Mm Frem1 is AJ616838. The genomic assemblies used for Genewise prediction were human NCBI33, mouse NCBI32, and Fugu Second Assembly (17th May 2002).
