In the Original Investigation titled “Treatment Failure and Adverse Events After Amoxicillin-Clavulanate vs Amoxicillin for Pediatric Acute Sinusitis,”1 published in the September 19, 2023, issue of JAMA, incorrect data for treatment failure were reported, as described in the accompanying letter.2 An error occurred in how the component outcome of days with an antibiotic prescription without an outpatient encounter was captured. While only 1 component of the outcome definition was impacted by the error, it affected the composite outcome, used in the main analysis, and the subgroup sensitivity analyses. This required corrections to the Abstract, Results and Discussion sections of the main text, Figures 2 and 4, and Supplement 1. These errors did not affect the primary results or the conclusions of the article. This article was corrected online.1
