Paroxysmal kinesigenic choreoathetosis

Report of a case relieved by l-dopa

Abstract

A case of paroxysmal kinesigenic choreoathetosis is described. A hitherto unreported response to l-dopa is recorded and its possible relevance to the pathophysiology of the disorder is discussed.
