Assay of serum fibrin degradation products by agglutination-inhibition of coated erythrocytes

Abstract

An immunological method for detecting fibrin degradation products by tanned cells agglutination has been standardized. The effects of different variables, such as cell concentration, pH, and length of incubation, and the specificity of the reaction, are described. The method is compared with other immunological techniques.
